1,256 Signatures
And we need even more...
We’ve had some pretty big campaigns before at Startup Coalition, but we have been overwhelmed by your response to our open letter to the Chancellor on stopping a potential Exit Tax.
Over 1,250 signatures in less than 24 hours, from some of the best and brightest in the UK tech ecosystem.
If you haven’t already signed our open letter to the Chancellor you can do so here.
And if you have? There are two things that it would be brilliant if you could do today to help the campaign.
Share the open letter on X, on Linkedin, and anywhere else you use social media. This can be a simple post, and you can use this graphic here, but we would love to see as many videos as possible as to why you have signed. Make sure you tag us!
If you are part of any founders’ groups on WhatsApp, please share the open letter with your fellow members. We know many of you already have as we’ve been seeing spikes in signatures each time - so the more the better. Once again you can use this graphic.
As the signatures have been piling up from founders, investors and others across the tech sector, we know we have got the Government’s attention and we’ve had some constructive conversations.
Frankly though, at the moment an Exit Tax is still on the table. We are continuing to engage with them directly but we’re in no doubt that this campaign is giving weight to our arguments.
The only thing better than 1,250 signatures is even more of them - they are sending a clear signal to the Chancellor and her team ahead of the Budget on the 26th.
We’ll be back in touch with more updates before then…
Thanks again for all your support as ever,
Dom
